Little Feat are very, very cool. I used to listen to them when i went surfing in the 70’s, early 80’s. A very mis understood band.. with a pure dixie rock sound……Lowel George ROCKS !!! Little Feat RULZ , ok.

I’ve long really enjoyed almost all of Little Feat’s work. Indeed, the fact that they are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ticks me off, considerably.

For those who do not enjoy them, then I’d have to say that’s your problem now isn’t it?

One of the GREAT Cowbell songs!!!
    Cowbell -
    a lost art.
And that is a live TV performance and Paul does hit the slide.
    These guys were musicians.
    And they played the instruments.
I know that is hard to believe these days.

That’s because paul barre is playing slide then, watch after you can see it on his little finger. This is the real deal,

Yeah they all look like no sleep that night! 9:30 AM? sheeit… Back then it was party hard and boogie down. Plus they probably had jet-lag and had to go out and do it again the same night. Touring was a little different back in those days.

It all looks and sounds real to me.

Listen to the very first slide at 0:18. As you can see thats Paul playing. It’s the same tone as 2:45. Lowell only plays slide during the solos and Paul plays slide fills throughout the track. Completely different tones.

Yes it was the guy on the left of the black dude that was doing the slide.

bday55..I’m pretty sure that’s not the slide, but paul barrere’s guitar at 2:45…looks like it’s a legit livew performance to me.

lol, well to be fair Lowell George does look pretty wasted, but the guy said it was 9:30 in the morning so you have to give him some leeway. This isn’t the absolute best version as far as his contributions, but it’s awesome to actually see him doing the song, this is some of the clearest video of him that I’ve seen. Great song, good performance.
