    I’m sure in this girls case it’s more genetic than anything. Normal children don’t gain that much weight no matter how much they eat.

    I own a horse farm. I regularly pull a large trailer. I bought a Ford F250 to pull said trailer — a 2005 model with the 6.0 liter diesel. I didn’t research the truck’s engine and it turns out to be a pile of junk; many problems. The capitalist system says that demand (the buyer), not supply (the manufacturer) controls the market. Providing a pile of crap to the market does nothing unless someone buys it. The buyer, in the end, is at fault. Wholly? No. I’ll give you that.

    Dirtyproduction (great name, btw - conjures up all sorts of imagery), you cannot claim that MacDonalds is wholly free from blame - their unethical used of advertising, coupled with the knowledge of how little nutritional value their food has (or at least had) makes them at least partly responsible - to suggest otherwise is to embrace the free-market ideals that have proved so disastrously wrong recently.

    i think you make the wrong point - not eating at MacDonalds won’t prevent people getting fat (are there too many negatives in that sentence?) This doesn’t preclude the fact that you shouldn’t be giving your money to that pansticked (panstuck?) *******!

    Well it’s their stupidity that led themselve’s to get that fat, So they end up so fat and outta shape and their health has turned to shit, that in turn they have no selfesteme and feel guilty so they sue McDonald’s for getting fat, And they can’t pay their medical bill’s cause their pathetic and obese.

    I eat in McDonald’s once a month.
    McDonald’s doesn’t have to fault. They just sell what people likes. But people that want more, they have the fault. They eat more than necessary. It’s their fault. The parents of that girl and boy shouldn’t take them to McDonald’s either, their fault too.
