I know eating more calories than you spend makes you gain weight, but does having excess fat in your diet but still have the same amount of calories make you fatter?
Hi.
I know eating more calories than you spend makes you gain weight, but does having excess fat in your diet but still have the same amount of calories make you fatter?
Or is it just bad for your heart and health?
And I know unsaturated fat is good, but how much unsaturated and saturated fat would you need to consume to get fatter?
ANd Trans fat too if you can answer.
THanks!

if you don’t burn off the fat gained from the energy, you will gain weight because you body stores it in case of emergency, so you just need to burn it off.
EDIT: What’s your surname?

Well I’ve got a system for working out whether a food is good or bad (Fat content-wise).
Divide the number of calories in the food by 25, then if the number of fat grams is more than the number you get then the food is BAD >:( if the fat grams are less than the number you got then the food is GOOD
hope this helps :S

No. Contrary to belief.. fat does not make you fat.. excess calories make you fat. Ss long as the fats you are eating are healthy fats. And you are not supposed to consume trans fats.. they are man made from hydrogenating oils and are detrimental to your health. Too much of anything isn’t good for you. But if you are still eating the same amount of calories just more fat. it won’t make u gain weight.
