How can you tell if you are fat deficient?

July 29th, 2010 | by fat |
Sonya asked:

I’m not talking about the actual fat on your body, but the kind of fat you eat. I just noticed that I eat mostly low fat foods, and was wondering if I was getting enough. How many grams of fat should you eat a day, and what are some of the signs that you might not be getting enough? What are some healthy high fat foods?

    fable 2 fat

Psoriasis is often a clear indicator.

As far as fats in the diet are concerned, you need them for 2 primary reasons:

    1. To provide the omega 3’s & 6’s.
    2. To provide a transport medium for your fat soluble vitamins.

It is possible to eat low fat while satisfying both of these.

It is also possible to load up on greasy junk while providing neither of these.

It is best to consider quality over quantity.

Here is some info about essential fats.
