How do you turn non-fat dry milk into 1% milk?

We only use non-fat dry milk at our house, but I now have a recipe that calls for milk with 1% fat content. Is there any way to change the non-fat dry milk to 1% milk? Thanks.
monounsaturated fat

There is no way to add fat to a product that has had it removed. The only way to get that 1% would be to add some 2% or whole milk to it. Since you don’t have the liquid milk, you may try to make the milk a little richer in flavor by adding an extra couple of tablespoons of powder to your receipe. This would work for a soup or other liquid recipe.
In the future, if you wanted to use the lower fat milk, you might try keeping a can of it in your pantry. It’s inexpensive and has a shelf life of at least a year.
The fat content is most likely for flavor but if it absolutely needs the fat content, try adding 2tsp. of vegetable oil or butter/margerine..
