Those last few kibbles might have gotten between Goliath and a clean escape. But after weeks of stealing food from a Gresham garage, the flabby tabby found himself stuck — head and shoulders outside the doggie door, gut and tail inside. The homeowner helped dislodge the sweet, playful 20.2-pound cat, kindly gave him a good meal, then delivered him Wednesday to the Oregon Humane Society, where he awaits his owner or a new adoptive personal chef.

Some cats are smaller than other cats, and it’s that which decides whether they are fat or not.
A Maine Coon is a very large cat so obviously they weigh more. I have a black cat who is fairly large, maybe medium, but he weighs about 12 pounds, my other cat is a short little dumpy thing, I think she only weighs are 8 pounds (though it feels like a lot less!). Neither of them are overweight.
The cat in this video, is very fat…But I’ve seen fatter.

First, neutered animals are happier. Males don’t get prostatitis or prostate cancer; females don’t get a host of ‘female’ problems, and don’t have to go through heat.
Second, an intact male can engender thousands of kittens in his lifetime, and an entact female hundreds. It is hard enough to find loving homes for the kittens we have now.
Finally, this cat isn’t really all that fat; he’s just BIG.

Did you hear about the owner? The owner saw the cat on TV. he told the story of the cat and what the cat meant to him. It was extremely sad. There is a video floating around youtube somewhere.
